These forums are also great resources to find out a lot of information about the health insurance industry at large and are a great value to me personally for my own insurance business.
The advantage to using these insurance forums for advice rather than from other agents that you may be working directly with is that you can get a multitude of opinions very quickly. Also in this competitive business the agents that you work with might not have your best interest at heart.
Participating in these forums will not only help your health insurance knowledge base but also help you establish relationships with many people who share the same profession with you. It is networking at its finest. You will also find out after awhile that you will be helping others find their way in the business just like I have.
Most importantly, you will find out which health leads companies are worth dealing with before having to find out the hard way with your own money.
