i agree with you social media is not just a platform to market your services and products you have to do much more things on it. Communicate with others not only on the topics related to your service but general topics & current topics this would help in building relations. Discuss things on social network, asks questions and answer others question. If your account is related to your services it doesn’t mean it should be boring filled with your promotional messages and ads but do something innovative also on your page or account to attract users and then advertise.
Go and grab the advantages of social media.

i agree with you instead of waiting for perfect health leads in order to sell them expensive policies one should focus on other prospects also. You never know those prospects whom you took lightly can change into the perfect lead interesting in buying your expensive policies next time. Like you gave the example of fast food joint….those who prefer 1 $ cheese burger can someday like to have 7$ deluxe meal. So always provide quality service.
