Insurance Leads Websites – The Relevancy Factor (a.k.a. on page SEO)
Search engines also look at the relevancy of your site to determine page ranking. They are looking for amounts of key words in your health insurance agent website.
Ideally there are seven places that need to have the keywords that you are using.
1.Your URL or web address.
2.The Page Title
3.The Page Description
4.The Body Title or Header
5.In the first ten words of the body (also done in bold text)
6.In the descriptive tags for any pictures
7.Somewhere in the last three sentences of the body (also underlined)
If you are unable to edit your website (like some captive companies provide cookie cutter websites to their agents,) or have one where the domain name does not have your keywords in it (like www,johndoeinsurance.com) or If you do not yet have a website at all, I strongly suggest you buy a domain name and get web hosting for it.
You can go from there to properly set up your site as your web hosting company has free page building template you can easily use.
The company I use and recommend is Hostgator.
I have tried several other companies, and most of the time when I needed technical assistance from these other companies I had to endure some sort of sales pitch for all sorts of account upgrades.
.
I have never gotten a sales pitch from Hostgator. Their 7.99 monthly package is all you should need and they also have a coupon code where you can save some extra money. Their domain name sign up is $15 per year.
One note: Keep your site simple with directions to email or give you a call. I have tried with several sites to hook up with direct quotes for the customers from single and multiple carriers and had dismal results. I had much better results when I just had simple sales copy ( like a form letter advertisement) with instructions to give me a call or email me.
Thanks for visiting my insurance leads blog.
