Is your Health Leads company ripping you off? Are you spending your hard earned marketing budget on health insurance leads that are not producing adequate results?
There is nothing more frustrating to a new health insurance agent than wasting time and money with a company that does not deliver as promised. Wasting your time and money on a bunch of bad sales leads might even be making you think of giving up on the health insurance business. Believe me, I have been there and have done that.
Are you getting the following responses when you call an internet lead?
“I was trying to get a free playstation, laptop, wii, sports jersey, etc”
“I was entering a contest”
This company is using incentivized advertising. The person has no interest in buying but getting something for nothing.
“I was online looking for discount airline tickets”
“I filled out an online form to see if I could lower my mortgage payment”
“This number has been disconnected or is no longer working”
“You have got the wrong number”
This company might be gleaning information from all over the internet and not from health insurance advertising.
What about this type of answer:
“I was looking at an email and when I clicked on a link I could not get out until I filled out a form”
“I wanted to take an online IQ test and every few questions I had to fill out a pop-up to go any further” (really, this was one answer I got. When I asked him what he scored he replied that he eventually gave up.)
This company probably is advertising through spamming and pop-up type traps.
This is the worst (and most common)
“I have already gotten 50 phone calls today from you guys!!!!”
This company is either re-selling leads or buying leads from a re-seller.
Bottom line is, if you are getting a large amount of this type of answers, (with any company you will have some from time to time, like the person who fills out many forms online instead of just one) Fire your lead company and get health leads from this reputable health leads company.
Cheers,
Mac
